to say was that obama's done his best. he got his stimulus, health care program and here we are. i think that might have nailed him a month ago but something's changed. it could have been something as definite as bill clinton's speech but people don't feel stuck like they did. they think all we need is some other president. that's romney's problem and it's a big one. that's "hardball" for now. thanks for being with us. "politicsnation" with al sharpton starts right now. >> thanks, chris. and thanks to you for tuning in. tonight's lead, can we predict who will win the election? and to help answer the question, i want to introduce fake governor romney and fake president obama. welcome to "politicsnation" and great to see you. folks, 39 days till the election and there's one way to predict who will win that really does seem to work. it turns out, the sale of presidential halloween masks are actually a great way to know who's going to win. in fact, in the past four elections, halloween masks have determined by their sales they accurately predicted the winner. and guess who is selling m

, of course. i'm going to repeal obama care. i've said that on the campaign trail. i think every single day obama care must be repealed in its entirety. >> he was for it before he was against it. and that auto bailout -- >> you said, quote, if general motors, ford, and chrysler gets the bailouts that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the automotive industry good-bye. >> that's exactly right. if you write a check, they are going to go out of business. >> my own view was that they needed to go through bankruptcy before government help and finally that's what the president did. so i'll take a lot of credit that this industry has come back. >> see, he told the president to let detroit go bankrupt so he should take the credit for saving detroit. and he's just as hapless on taxes. >> raise taxes with obama care but he's got another taxes in mind. >> governor romney doesn't need zingers. he needs to get his story straight. he needs to stop debating himself. and at the end of the day, this election isn't about one liners. just ask our president. >> i know folks in

. don't worry, the obama campaign was there to greet them. >> i'm not fighting just on behalf of workers or businesses or rich or poor, the 1% of the 99%, i'm feeting for american values. they belong to all of us. >>> plus, ann romney lashing out. it's getting ugly. >>> and first lady michelle obama's speech out on the fight for voting rights. you'll want to hear this one. you're watching "politicsnation" on msnbc. >> this is the movement of our era, protecting that fundamental right, not just for this election but for the next generation and generations to come. >>> have you joined the "politicsnation" conversation on facebook yet? today our fans loved this photo of the president greeting this very excited make-a-wish child in the oval office. kodi says, i love how our president takings the time to make a child happy. a lot of people are still talking about mr. romney's comments, dismissing the 47% of the country. dave says, obama's running for president of the united states while romney is the divided states. we've got more on that next. we want to hear what you think, too. hea

every other swing state that is also leaning towards obama. if he doesn't win ohio, h doesn't win. and i think when that video came out aboutim talking about the 47% and casting them aside, i think that will be viewed as the pivotal moment in this election, the way that in 2008 mccain's crazed response to the financial crisis was really the pivotal moment. >> so you think this tape is t game changer? >> i do think it's the game changer. but i want to cut mitt romney a little bit of slk. hink t wlm a impossible task for the are republican nominee to please the party se and appeal to a large section of electorate in order to win. they have to move so far to the right that it was impossible run a sort of a instam cagnand, as you said, this is a verdict not just on romney but on their entire go it alone philosophy. >> now, bob, picking up on far to the right, having to do that to win the primaries, when you look at the "new york times" poll of ohio, it is not just likeability. the economy 6 points up over romney. on health care, 14 points above romney of ohio ters. national securi, 12oiup. m
